- SoloEvent Navigation
TPSA, in partnership with the Angel Investment Network Indonesia (ANGIN), held a one-day workshop in Solo to help bridge the gap between women-owned SMEs and lenders/investors. The event provided relevant information to women entrepreneurs about various types of financial products and services currently offered by funding sources. The event was also an opportunity for government and the private sector to hear directly from the women owners of SMES about what they need financially to improve their businesses.
Topics covered at the seminar included:
- an overview of the recent TPSA report findings on the challenges of female SMEs in accessing funding in Indonesia
- a moderated discussion with stakeholders (government, investors, industry associations, female SMEs) to better understand the main challenges of female SMEs in relation to access to capital
- presentations by investors (e.g., banks, impact investors, fintech, angel investors, corporations) on their products and services for SMEs and especially for women-led SMEs
- role play group games intended to give a voice to women entrepreneurs in designing their own financial products
- a pitching session that was an opportunity for female entrepreneurs to be able to pitch their business in front of investors (bank, angel investor, fintech)
- selected participants (based on their participation in the event and business readiness) will receive business consulting services and financing from ANGIN
