TPSA Intern Presents Findings on Public-Private Consultation Mechanisms to Officials from the Indonesian Embassy in Ottawa

On November 1, 2016, at the offices of The Conference Board of Canada, Jessica Callista presented the results of her research on Canada’s public-private consultations (PPC) mechanism in free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations. Jessica spent two months at the Conference Board under the internship program sponsored by the TPSA project. Jessica is a representative from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) as well as an associate in the Investment, Trade and Industry Practice Group of Bahar law firm in Indonesia. In attendance at the presentation were TPSA Ottawa staff, CBoC research staff, and officials from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ottawa, including Candra Negara (Minister Counsellor for Economic Affairs), Christhophorus Barutu (Trade Attaché), and Yusuf Wiharsoyo (Administrative Assistant).
