The SCORE-Cleaner Production module was held in Bandung on October 16-17, 2017 that covered such topics as how to save costs, increase efficiency, and reduce waste and energy usage. The training will be followed by technical assistance whereby BEDO trainers will visit each participating SME and provide one-on-one coaching in implementing cleaner production methods. The Cleaner Production technical assistance program is expected to end in February 2017. At the end of the program, a closing workshop will be conducted whereby the SME partners will present their results. This activity is part of a series of workshops, trainings, and technical assistance organized by TPSA to assist SME partners to improve their environmental performance. The cleaner production training modules are adopted from the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) SCORE (Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises) Program, which has been implemented by over 600 enterprises in nine countries. TPSA’s SCORE delivery partner is Business Export Development Organization (BEDO).
