A half-day Gender and Trade Dialogue Group (GTG) meeting was held on the morning of December 6, 2017. The purpose of the meeting was to reveal the results of the gender and trade survey for one of TPSA’s focus sectors: coffee. Participants listened to topic experts and shared their views on gender inequality and inequity issues operating in the coffee sector and good practices in mitigating these issues. The GTG participants included coffee SME owners, officials from Indonesian Specialty Coffee Association (AKSI) and the Indonesian Business Women Association (IWAPI), officials from the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection, Global Affairs Canada, and gender advocates.
