As a follow-up to the workshop on May 23, 2017, a second workshop on gender analysis was held on July 18, 2017 for 18 officials from the Ministry of Trade. The focus in this second workshop was on familiarizing participants with gender inequality issues in the context of trade by using some basic gender analysis tools to examine the value of chains of Indonesia’s coffee, footwear, and apparel sectors. The training enabled participants to recognize the value of gender analysis in establishing evidence in policy-making and program planning in trade.
