The workshop increased the capacity of the private sector to provide inputs to government officials and trade negotiations before, during, and after free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations. It also supports a dialogue between public and private sector representatives to strengthen their relationship and contribute to an improved public-private consultation (PPC) mechanism for FTA negotiation in Indonesia. The workshop focused on practical explanations and exercises on how to draft position papers and design a communication strategy.
