The Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) was asked to provide FITTskills international business training to employees of the Ministry of Trade. The sixth course focussed on international trade finance, where 23 participants learned about financial methods and tools used to conduct international business transactions successfully. Risks such as commercial and country were discussed as were risk-mitigating techniques, their use and legal implications. Participants learned how to develop a sound financial plan that will help ensure a business’ success.
