In September 2016, representatives from Indonesian apparel, coffee, and footwear business associations traveled to Canada to meet with counterparts and to better understand the market opportunities for exports from Indonesia to Canada for these three industries. Upon their return to Indonesia, the representatives had an opportunity to present the information they gained on the trends and opportunities for exporting to Canada at the annual Trade Expo Indonesia’s Regional Discussion Forum on October 13, 2016. Each of the three industry information sessions were attended by approximately 60 participants (full-house), and a lively Q&A session took place with interested audience members after each presentation.
